THE MEDITERRANEAN TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.

The cities visited by the exhibition include:

Argelès-sur-Mer	Tarragona
Roses

The exhibition seeks to make the public more aware of the environmental aspects of the Mediterranean coastline and to propose more rational forms of management of tourist resources.

The exhibition is divided into 5 sections:
1. The natural systems of the Mediterranean
2. Humans in the Mediterranean
3. Environmental problems in the Mediterranean
4. Co-operation in the Mediterranean
5. Tourism in the Mediterranean

When the exhibition is visiting a city, different parallel acts are organized such as round tables, conferences, guided visits, etc. The main objective of these activities is to stimulate the local population’s participation in the planning and management of tourism and the environment
